OUR STAFF LEADERSHIP TEAM
Dr. Marc Rauch has built an incredible team of leaders who together have over 150 years of experience at Kinder Ring. They are dedicated to the success of each camper and the strength of our caring environment.
MARC RAUCH
DIRECTOR
Dr. Marc Rauch has a long history at Camp Kinder Ring, working with children and in the camping world. He attended Kinder Ring in the 80’s and 90’s as a camper, counselor and Group Leader. He is a third generation Kinder Ring alumnus. Marc returned to Kinder Ring in 2013 with 10 years of experience consulting with camps and presenting for the American Camp Association. His wife Beth was a camper and counselor at Kinder Ring, and his two children grew up at Kinder Ring as campers and then staff members. Marc is a New York State Licensed Psychologist who has worked extensively within a large school district and in private practice with children. Marc is a staunch child advocate who brings the highest level of energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to Kinder Ring. His passion for Kinder Ring and long history of working with children and professionals make him an ideal leader. Marc strives to continue to bring Kinder Ring the most innovative programming and activities. When he started as Director, he had a vision to lead a new generation of Kinder Ring campers and show the world of camping how solid leadership and clear mission can lead Kinder Ring to ‘Make the World a Better Place.’
JESSICA RICH
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Jessica started as a Kinder Ring camper in 1981 in the youngest bunk and grew up at camp to become a counselor and Group Leader in the 80’s and 90’s. She and her husband Andrew met as campers and they got married at camp with the Sylvan Lake sunset behind them. Their two sons are the 4th generation to share the traditions of Kinder Ring and are now KR staff members. Jessica loves working year-round with Kinder Ring’s families and staff members and is spending her 27th summer at camp in 2025. Jessica is involved in all aspects of preparation for the summer, including recruitment, planning, staffing, communications, and management. She is so happy to share the friendship, love, and spirit of Kinder Ring with our entire camp family.
GERI LISS
GIRLS HEAD COUNSELOR
2025 marks Geri’s 30th summer at Kinder Ring. She began in 1977 as a camper and continued her camp life as a counselor and Group Leader. After a 20-year hiatus to marry and raise a family, Geri returned to Kinder Ring in 2008, bringing her three daughters to experience the magic of KR for themselves. Having worked in the KR Office for several years, she moved to Girls Side as the Assistant Head Counselor and has now been leading Girls Side as the Head Counselor for 9 summers. Geri leads with energy, excitement, and a deep love for Kinder Ring, inspiring campers and staff alike. Each summer, she happily trades the Florida heat for the fresh, beautiful days on Sylvan Lake, embracing the joy, traditions, and friendships that make Kinder Ring home. Wither dedication, heart, and leadership, she looks forward to creating many more memories with her Kinder Ring family.
JACKIE ROSENTHAL
BOYS HEAD COUNSELOR
Jackie started her Kinder Ring career as a camper in 2000 as an Ultra Girl. She spent the next six summers growing up at camp, became a counselor, and then a group leader, a role she held for 11 years through the summer of 2016. During the seven years she was away from camp in a full-time capacity, she remained involved in camp programming and helped run the KRJR weekends from 2017-2023. In 2024, Jackie returned to camp full-time with her daughter and son. She spent that summer working in the KR Office, helping out on girls’ side and boys’ side, and co-leading KRJR 2024. In 2025, she was named Boys’ Side Head Counselor and couldn’t be happier to return to her involvement with campers and staff. Jackie graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and then earned a master’s degree from Touro College in Special Education. During the academic year, Jackie is a special education teacher for elementary age students.
JOSH STONE
WATERFRONT DIRECTOR
The summer of 2025 is Josh’s 32nd at Camp Kinder Ring. He started as a Soph boy in 1985, grew up at camp, and began working as a lifeguard in 1992, a position he held until 2006. After a three-year leave to complete his Ph.D. in English at the University of Miami, Josh returned to the shores of Sylvan Lake, eventually assuming the directorship of our waterfront in 2011. In addition to holding Red Cross certifications in Lifeguarding, Water Safety Instruction, and Lifeguarding Instruction, Josh – as a seasoned high school English teacher — also brings a wealth of experience working with children to our campus each summer. Josh, his wife, and his two sons reside in Greenville, South Carolina.
NANCY CAMPAGNA
HEALTH CENTER DIRECTOR
Nancy’s journey with Kinder Ring began in 1993 as a senior girl. She grew to be a dedicated counselor and group leader for 10 years, shaping the camp experience for so many. Though she stepped away from camp for several years to start her family, Nancy remained closely connected, serving on Kinder Ring’s Board of Directors. In 2018, Nancy returned to camp with her children and quickly became an essential part of the Health Center team, taking on a leadership role as second-in-command. Her commitment and expertise led to her appointment as Administrative Director of the Health Center in 2025. Outside of camp, Nancy is a passionate educator with the NYC Department of Education, where she has been teaching elementary students in grades 3–6 for over 24 years. Nancy looks forward to her summers at Kinder Ring, where she finds joy in caring for the campers in the place she proudly calls home.
