Located on Sylvan Lake in Hopewell Junction NY, Camp Kinder Ring is a co-ed sleep away camp founded in 1927. Our main goals at Camp Kinder Ring is to teach our campers valuable life lessons all while providing a safe environment in a Jewish community. We offer a plethora of activities and programs ranging from arts and crafts, sports, water games, performing arts, and just about everything in between. Our large scale of programs provides daily fun and excitement at overnight camp in NY during your 3, 4, or 7-week sessions.

With all this talk of summer entertainment, we can’t forget to mention our safe and nurturing environment in NY that Camp Kinder Ring provides. Our staff is dedicated to keeping our campers safe while also being role models and teaching them leadership and responsibility. Our mature adult staff includes seasoned professionals, many of whom have been with us since they were campers themselves. Many of our senior staff members are teachers, social workers and professionals working with children in the off-season. We provide a camper to counselor ratio of 3:1. At least 2-3 counselors live in each bunk with 8-12 campers. Campers are supervised at all times; 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
